Building Relative Value

Building Relative Value

When building up your business, there is a need for building relative value in your products and services. Your want to establish how your products and services are the best choice for your clients needs.

* List features and benefits
* Build value into the products and services
* Show how you are the solution to their problems, issues or needs
* Develop Credibility – Reinforced with facts and testimonials
* Fulfill their desires, cravings, emotional wants, passions or satisfy an impulse
* Justify a great price point – break down the value in related comparisons
* Offer an excellent guarantee adding security in the purchase
* Ease in ordering and getting in a timely fashion. Define delivery times and be realistic. Always allow more than enough time.

Remember people love to buy but never want to be sold. This is a point most over look when trying to drive sales. If you sell anything, Sell Yourself. Show them how you are different and the best choice. People will purchase if they feel they are special and given personalized service. Quite often willing to pay more for such service. You need to understand this behavior in order to develop a long term relationship with your customer base.

Repeat sales are the key. Avoid the “Get The Sale At All Cost Mentality”. It will cost you greatly in the long run.

So how is this done? First thing is to listen...! A potential client will tell you how to sell them if you just listen. So learn to look for their hot points. Identify their needs and show how you can help. Give them solutions to their needs. If you know it all and are unwilling to learn or try to force a sale, you will be left behind. Needs change quickly and you need to adjust just as quick, so stay informed by listening.

Reassure them with Superior Customer Support And Service. This builds long term relationships for continued sales and your business security. They need to feel if there is ever a question or problem, they can reach you and get results in a timely fashion.

Learn and apply the “Justification Mechanism”. A client needs to feel they are getting a good deal. They feel the relative value is based on:

* Solving a problem, issue or need
* Is the price justifiable in trade for the product or service

It is important they feel they are getting the very best deal possible. If they feel the purchase is a 50 / 50 or better in their favor, you will earn their respect and client confidence.

After the sale, remember to follow up, reinforcing the relationship. This allows for additional sales, up sales and referrals. Referrals are pre-conditioned sales ready to purchase at no real cost to you. Keeping your business healthy, strong and with higher profits.

Work more as a consultant, not a salesperson and gain their trust. They will see you as the expert and seek your advise. Guard the relationships you have built. You want to be transparent and open, clients want honesty more than anything else. Have a genuine interest in them and you will gain their loyalty.

Follow these points and it will build Relative Value in your products and services but more importantly in yourself. You are the expert and this is how you use this fact to build in value.

Time For Starting A Business..!

Now Is The Correct Time For Starting A Business..!

This is an overview as to why you should start a business for yourself. The internet is being overwhelmed with an ever growing wave of people dissatisfied with Corporate Affairs. The time has passed where a person goes to work for a company and stays till retirement. Whole families would carry on the legacy of total loyalty to one company. This time is dying out not to return. Companies now view personnel as disposable and short term only. Far too many loyal employees are coming to work only to find a pink slip or the doors locked forever. The Corporations value the bottom line as priority one.

Take action in your best interest. Actively review your job situation. Does your company have a positive history with their employees? Your life security depends on watching for the signs of stormy weather. Do you have people around you being held back from moving up in the company? Even worse, are you being held back? We are seeing people asked or pressured to step down from earned positions at reduced pay in order to keep working. If they do not agree, then the pink slip comes out. Do you feel or have been lead to believe you have the possibility of advancement with a defined time line? The higher up the management chain, the fewer the positions. Unfortunately the positions tend to be reserved for family and friends over those who work hard and honestly. Can you look your company in the eye and feel you are being rewarded for your efforts? If so then you are one of the rare few. Remember loyalty should work both ways.

I simply suggest you change your mind set. People are taking charge of their futures. You are your best insurance policy. Corporations condition you to stay with the programed corporate structure. They would like you to believe everything else is some sort of pyramid. 80% or more of the company is made up of the work force making up the base. There is a small group of middle management and a smaller group of upper management. You draw this out and it forms a true pyramid. This is a one sided ploy to stop or slow change. Being a long time practice. Used to make employees unsure and less likely to leave or strike out on your own.

So how should you protect yourself? You can try to work multiple jobs but it is a large commitment of time, hard on you and harder on love ones. Burn out is the only guarantee. You can purchase a franchise but most do not have the resources. You can try to start a brick and mortar business. There is always high risk with developing a new untried and unproven business model. Few are successful, most fail with in 2 to 5 years. This is why the internet is seeing such a large surge of popularity. We suggest you start small and part time, testing the waters to see what fits your needs. Customize a business plan for yourself. The benefits to this method is less stress, improved security, reclaimed personal time and most important, your freedom. As you start to master your new business you can work to completely replace your original job. This is the real goal and the reason we want to build our dream business. When you have a solid business built, you now have something you can pass onto your heirs to improve their position in life or sell out right. No matter what or why, just get started. Do not over think it or only dream about it. It is too important to let it just sit. Remember if you keep doing the same thing over and over again, it is defined as crazy to expect different or better results. The next article will be on how to target a business right for you.
